Rubber Surfaces’ product provides excellent traction for your golf course paths or municipal pathways. Our public path rubber flooring solutions ensure safety and durability in outdoor public spaces. Over time, tree roots can heave up asphalt pathways, creating cracks, tripping hazards, and deterioration. Our rubber surface, on the contrary, has the ability to bend, flex, and move with the ground underneath without splitting or coming apart. Additionally, should the heaving become extreme and create a tripping hazard, we can cut and patch the area with minimal cost and effort. When it comes to the clubhouse, your members will greatly appreciate the attractive and comfortable surface we provide for your outdoor walking and sitting areas. For specialized needs, we also offer non-slip rubber surfacing for animals designed to protect livestock and ensure their safety.
Common FAQ
Is the surface suitable for high-traffic paths, bikes, and light service vehicles?
Yes. The poured-in-place rubber wear layer over a sound base handles frequent foot traffic, bicycles, strollers, and typical golf/utility carts. It resists scuffing at tight turns and provides a comfortable, low-vibration ride.
Can it be installed over existing asphalt or concrete paths?
The textured, seamless finish maintains excellent slip resistance in rain. Proper grading and detailing move water off the path to drains or adjacent turf. Flexible binders and UV-stable pigments tolerate temperature swings and freeze–thaw without cracking.
Can it be installed over existing asphalt or concrete paths?
Absolutely. We prepare the substrate, address drainage, and install the system directly over sound asphalt or concrete. The poured layer bridges hairline cracks and minor pitting; movement joints and significant structural cracks are honoured with flexible details.
What maintenance is required, and how do you handle snow/ice?
Routine sweeping or blowing, and occasional rinsing with water or mild detergent is usually sufficient. Snow can be removed with brushes or plows fitted with rubber/urethane edges and properly set skids. Common de-icers are compatible – rinse residues in spring.
Can we add lane markings, colour zones, or wayfinding/branding?
Yes. Choose solid colours or blends, and optionally integrate contrasting bands, centerlines, edge lines, distance markers, arrows, or logos. High-contrast detailing improves visibility and supports accessibility and wayfinding in public spaces.
